Winter Arts Festival has teamed up with John Adams, the founder of Discover The Past Walking Tours to bring you four nights of public art walking tours in beautiful historic downtown Victoria.
Discover The Past Walking Tours has been working closely with our curation and art production team to build a custom tour that will take attendees along the Art Walk. You will see the major new public art installations, stop in at a few warming locations, and maybe even discover a pop-up performance in a storefront! John will be weaving stories about the artists with behind-the-scenes info about the creation of the festival and offer insights into the history of the buildings and people of downtown Victoria.

We acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples: Songhees Nation and xʷsepsəm (Esquimalt) Nation.
We ask that you take a moment to consider the history of the land that we gather on, your relations with local Indigenous people, and what each of us can do to foster meaningful reconciliation now and into the future.
