About Resonance Collective: Resonance Collective is a tight-knit group of friends, DJ’s, producers and promoters operating night and day on unceded lək̓ʷəŋən Territories. Initially conceived in 2021 as a channel to throw parties their way, they combated a noted lack of diversity and representation within the local dance music scene in Victoria by throwing gender & genre diverse dance music events with a focus on quality of sound, artistic integrity, support for emerging artists & community safety. Three years later, recently incorporated as a non-profit, Resonance Collective continues to weave and nurture a mycelic web of underground connections in the city.

  • • Mobility: Site is located up a flight of stairs. For mobility accommodations contact jennifer@vanmuralfest.com

    • Restroom Facilities: Gender-free washrooms, accessible stalls.

    • Seating: Bar stools, tables and chairs, and bench seating are available around the site

    • Public Transportation: the nearest bus stop is Douglas at Fort, 3 minute walk to the venue

    • Parking: Paid street parking and paid parking lots nearby. Downtown Victoria tends to be busy, so we encourage walking, biking, and public transit.

  • • It doesn't matter who you are, who you love, or how you identify, you are welcome here. Oppression, judgment, and harassment are not. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any forms of discrimination and harassment.

    • Please be mindful of the energy you bring to this space.

    • While having a good time we ask that you please drink responsibly, respect personal space and consent is mandatory.

  • A Harm Reduction team is on-site to support with safety, well-being, and crisis assistance. They are carrying sealed water bottles, condoms, lube, granola bars, tampons, and more. They will intervene if someone is receiving unwanted attention, can help folks in need to find a way home, and generally serve as go-to support personnel should any problems arise.

  • VMF After Dark events aim to be a safe space for people of all genders, ethnicities, abilities, and sexual orientations to come together and enjoy music side by side. We encourage you to come dressed to express your own unique identity and ask that you respect other people's right to do the same without judgment.

  • We acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples: Songhees Nation and xʷsepsəm (Esquimalt) Nation.

We ask that you take a moment to consider the history of the land that we gather on, your relations with local Indigenous people, and what each of us can do to foster meaningful reconciliation now and into the future.
